About Sagewise
Founded in 2017, Sagewise builds technology to efficiently resolve disputes using blockchains and cryptocurrency. Our system is smart contract SDK, which allows contracts to be stopped when a dispute arises, and a dispute vendor marketplace. Dispute resolution can vary greatly depending on the application and our solution is flexible to fit a variety of circumstances.

Context
Proof-of-Intent
Our tools document context around a smart contract to make the intent clear and immutable.
Resolution
Dispute Handling
Platform of tools to freeze smart contracts and utilize our dispute resolution vendor marketplace.
Collections & Enforcement
Legally Binding
Our tools allow for timely enforcement of resolutions and judgments.
The challenge lies in managing conflict so that it doesn't impede progress, or worse, destroy the capacity to achieve business goals.

How It Works
We provide tools and infrastructure for smooth handling of disputes from start to finish.
Implement
Smart contract creator includes Sagewise SDK in their smart contract. This can be thought of like an arbitration clause in a traditional contract.
Freeze
When something goes wrong, contracting parties can trigger ``Dispute Resolution Mode``, which freezes the smart contract until the dispute is resolved.
Resolve
Disputes are resolved by the marketplace vendor defined in the smart contract. Vendors can provide unique approaches to dispute resolution using their own fee structures.
